Living The Life Of Your Dreams… With These Simple and Amazing 10 Steps

It can be difficult these days to find people who are truly chasing their dreams, and even fewer who are living them.

“Attitude is everything…”

This is one quote that I continually refer back to when I confront an obstacle in my life.

Did you know that the most successful people did not achieve their dreams through money, but with attitude…

The key to achieving success is mental.

Here are few attitude attributes that will put you in the right mindset for success:

Live your life with PASSION! Find something you absolutely love and then pour your heart and soul into that. People will notice your passion and sincerity and will naturally be drawn to you.

Don’t let fear hold you back. Fear is often associated with failure. Failure is simply a natural part of your journey to success. Did you know that Thomas Edison made something like 1000 unsuccessful attempts at inventing the light bulb before he became a success? One thing I can tell you is that failure is guaranteed. So there is no point in letting failure get the best of you. Instead, embrace failure as valuable intelligence about what doesn’t work and get up and try something different. Look at the situation from a new perspective.

Every day, do something that scares you! What I mean is do something that pushes you out of your comfort zone. Many times, in order to grow and realize your dreams, it comes from a place of putting yourself out there and being vulnerable.

Have a positive mindset. It’s easy to focus on the negative stuff, but all this will do is put you in a bad mood, attract more negative things into your life, and make success virtually impossible. In contrast, having an attitude of gratitude is a powerful asset to achieving your goals. Be grateful often. You just may surprise yourself at what you attract into your life.

Know What Your Dreams Are

If you’re not sure what you want, it’s pretty difficult to reach your goals. If that’s the case, start with thinking about what you loved to do as a child. What gets you excited and what would you do even if you didn’t get paid? Then do some research on the internet. Come up with a list of five things.

Imagine Your Best Day Using All Of Your Senses

Feel it, hear it taste and touch it. The more you can get into the feeling space of the kind of life you want the easier it will come into your reality. This will help you get clear on exactly what you want.

What will you be doing?
Who will you be with?
Will you travel?
Where will you live?
What will your body look and feel like?

Example: I wake up in my master bedroom suite to the sounds of nature outside my window. Birds chirping. My sheets are luxurious and soft and I hear the sounds of laughter from my family in the kitchen and smell coffee. As my feet hit the floor of my bathroom I feel the cool travertine under my feet. I feel healthy and strong….etc.

Come up with a plan

Example: map out a healthy diet plan and workout routine.

Take Daily Action Steps That Are In Alignment With Your Goals
We can all develop some bad habits that are not assisting us to accomplish what we want in life. Take the time to assess whether or not each of your daily habits could be tweaked a bit to be more in alignment with your long-term goals. And follow through with daily action steps.

Example: maybe your eating habits have slipped over the years. A dessert here and an extra meal there. Find out how you can replace this with a conscious effort to eat more healthy.

Remove Any Roadblocks To Your Success

It might mean changing your eating patterns or being more disciplined with your daily tasks. There is no better time than now.

Example: Stop buying foods that are bad for you and set up a time to go to the gym.

Get The Support Of Mentors And Like-minded People

One of the critical steps to living a dream life is finding people who are already living that life and getting to know them better, even if it means just reading about them or following them on social media. Reach out to people and connect. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. They were once where you are now.

Example find an accountability buddy who will meet you at the gym or for a class or a running partner. Let people know of your goals to elicit their support.

Do whatever you need to do to make the commitment serious. By recording your voice saying “I’m committed to making my dreams a reality and won’t settle for anything less.” And listening to it at least twice a day.

Live the life of your dreams

Did you know that your state of mind determines your actions in your everyday life? Individuals who more regularly believe they can achieve success will, in fact, go on to achieve success. When you have an idea and believe in your idea or dream, you can move mountains. If however, you don’t have the mental stamina to back up your idea or dreams, they are nothing but that, ideas and dreams.
