Homemade Natural Remedies For Periodontitis and Gingivitis (gum disease) -Symptoms, Causes, Prevention & Treatments!!!

The occurrence of chronic inflammation of gums (Gingivitis) often occurs in older people, affected by a lack of calcium, vitamin C and especially vitamin A .

Therefore, should provide a healthy diet with as much raw vitamin food (salads, fresh fruit – especially orange, grapefruit, tangerine, lemon) and avoid foods with preservatives and other additives. This is a rare disease in people who have kept the habit of food natural and raw food, this is a disease rare.

At the beginning, you must move to the regime of healthy eating and for cleaning the gums you need to  introduce a  raw food in your diet .and  if  there are stomach problems  then use a light diet. Wash your teeth with toothpaste with herbal ingredients and also massaging the gums with a little paste.

Toothbrush, toothpaste, and dental floss as a basis for healthy teeth, but sometimes that’s not good enough. So you have to resort to natural remedies  for the prevention and treatment of periodontal disease.



Sage oil has a healing effect ,stop bleeding gums and cure them. It helps with gingivitis. Add 3 drops of oil in a glass of water and gurgle, a few minutes.


Diluted lemon juice and 4 drops of lemon oil in a glass of warm water and gurgle 5 minutes 3-4 times a day.


For the treatment of periodontal disease, zeolite powder is completely free to be used . Put the zeolite powder on your toothbrush and gently rub your teeth for 3 min, then rinse your mouth . This you should be doing after the usual procedure of washing  your teeth with toothpaste. Use powder zeolite 3 times a week.


Another powerful antiseptic. In 100 ml of water  put a few drops of oregano oil, and rinse your mouth 3 times a day for 7 days.


As an excellent antibiotic,propolis is a great natural cure for periodontitis. In 100 ml water put  15 drops of propolis. With this tincture rinse your mouth several times during the day and also  before going to bed.

With regular use of propolis will significantly reduce or completely cure inflammation of the gums, and even if it is developed into periodontitis.

If you daily rubbing your teeth with garlic, cut in half, the teeth will get the normal white color. Also, you can use turmeric , sodium bicarbonate for whitening your teeth ( but not too often).


Fresh fruits and salads are very important for the health of your gums, as well as cooked fish, chicken and lean meat molehill. Sweets and white bread should be avoided.

  1. Mixtures of the grated horseradish or chopped garlic and honey, are very healing for sore gums. Keep it in your mouth as long as you can and  repeated it several times during the day. Chewing the root of horseradish also calms inflammation of the gums.

  2. Handful of blackberry leaf cook in a liter of water until the liquid is reduced by half. After cooling, add a tablespoon of apple cider or wine vinegar and with this liquid  rinse the gums and mouth to reduce the inflammation of the gums, which is the most common cause of bleeding.

  3. Every other day, rinse the mouth with sage tea or vinegar (before using vinegar put a chopped garlic in it to stand 3 days , then throw the garlic and vinegar is ready for use) . Rinse your mouth with lemon juice, it is also very useful for the health of the gums.

  4. Massaging the gums every morning and evening,with  a slice of lemon or lemon juice. Drink as much natural lemonade from freshly squeezed lemons and  sweetened with honey.

  5. In a liter of red wine put 25 g of fresh oak bark, after 5 days  put it in a closed bottle .With this liquid rinse the oral cavity.

  6. Take 2 tablespoons finely powdered celery leaf and spoon of rue (ruta graveolens) and pour this mixture with  600 ml of boiling water, leave covered for 2-3 hours, strain and this liquid is ready for use. Rinse a mouth three times a day for 7 days.

Note:In cases of periodontal disease should avoid white bread, sugar and other refined foods, and instead use wholemeal bread, bran, fruits and vegetables with a yellow “meat” that is rich in carotene, which the body transforms into an active vitamin A (carrots, pumpkin, orange, apricot, etc.). Fruits rich in vitamin C should be as frequent use.
